Jokes and humorous reactions dotted the comments section of the athlete who posted a photo of himself wearing this foodpanda riders usually wear in their duties.
“[foodpanda] delivery,” Donnie wrote in the caption with a panda emoji.
So far, her post has garnered 48,000 “love” likes and reactions and more than 14,000 shares on the social networking platform.
Donnie also made it his profile picture on his Facebook page.
Despite this, there is no official announcement from the foodservice distributor whether the boxer is actually affiliated with them as a rider or endorser.
Meanwhile, Donnie’s message amused some Pinoys who jokingly thought of made-up scenarios if he became an actual food delivery man.
“Basta I cancel the order. Black eye”, a facebook user joked in the comments.
“[Uppercut] ang sukli,” joked another Pinoy with emojis of a boxing glove and a laughing face rolling on the floor.
“Panigurado can’t cancel the order even if it is”, another user commented with the same laughing face emoji.
“Pa-order po, sir. 2 [pieces] uppercut, 1 big right hook, 1 regular right jab,” another wrote. Pinoyreferring to boxing terms.
“Can eliminate promo kung i-ca-cancel ang order”, another user joked.
Donnie has 43 wins, two losses and six draws in his two-decade professional boxing career.
He is one of the best active junior bantamweight boxers in the world and became world champion in the following weight classes – minimumweight, light flyweight, flyweight and junior bantamweight.
Donnie last entered the boxing ring in July, when he had a match with a Japanese boxer Kazuto Ioka in the WBO World Junior bantamweight.
