MUNICH, GERMANY – October 27, 2022 – (Motor Sports News Wire) – RM Sotheby’s is pleased to announce The Driver and Rider Collection, which will be offered at the Munich auction on November 26th. The collection represents a finely curated selection of high specification supercars and superbikes, all boasting stunning specifications and offering the ultimate driving and riding experience for two and four wheel thrill seekers.

The headliner of the Collection is the Ferrari F12tdf 2017. Paying homage to the famous 250 Tour de France of the 1960s, the 780 PS F12 was the most powerful front-engined production Ferrari ever built when it was launched and second only to the LaFerrari in general terms. The tdf also boasted an 87% increase in downforce over the conventional F12, combined with a 110kg weight reduction over the standard car. The example on offer is presented in the superb Blu Scozia, in which only six cars were produced, and has recorded only 2,945 km. The car has an incredible and extensive list of bespoke extras and features, which combine to make it one of the most specified examples in the world (Estimate: €1,000,000 – €1,400,000).

Augustin Sabatié-Garat, Sales Director, EMEA, says: “The Driver and Rider Collection is a special selection of stunning high performance supercars from the past 12 years, complemented by some incredible Ultimate Edition superbikes. Single-owner collections of supercars and motorcycles of this quality are rarely sold at auction, and we are delighted to be able to offer them in Munich.

Another Ferrari to collect is the 2010 Ferrari 599 GTO, only the third model in the brand’s history to wear the GTO badge. Fittingly, only 599 examples were produced as the road-going version of the impressive 599XX race car, and it boasted 661 horsepower from its 6.0 V-12. This beautiful and very rare Blu Scozia example is perfectly completed with a Ferrari Classiche certification and only 15,961 km on the odometer, and is estimated between €800,000 and €1,000,000 EUR.

No supercar collection is complete without a Lamborghini, and what’s better than one? 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. With only 900 examples produced, the “Super Veloce Jota” is one of the purest pre-hybrid supercars ever created. With stunning performance such as a 0-100kph time of 3.8 seconds, this Verde Triton example, one of the few examples made in the color, is undeniably striking (Estimate: €650,000 – €850 €000). The Ferrari 488 Pista Spider 2021 is a brilliant, track-focused V-8 mid-engine supercar. Remarkably, the spider version was 90kg lighter than the coupé, making it a remarkable machine for the road or track (Estimate: €400,000 – €600,000).

For many, Porsche is the king when it comes to producing track-focused road cars. The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is considered by many to be one of the finest iterations of Porsche’s iconic 911 and the collection’s one-owner example has been finished in the Triple Black color scheme. The model was only the third production Porsche to break the seven-minute barrier at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and is one of the finest Porsches to wear the legendary RS badge (Estimate: €250,000 – €300,000). The collection also offers something a little more comfortable for high-performance riding, but no less attractive. The Bentley Mulsanne Speed 2015 is highly regarded for its superior cruising abilities and is an exceptional long haul GT car and this stunning Peacock Blue example is another in the collection to boast an incredible list of owner specified options and features at the time of the command. These include items such as a refrigerated bottle cooler with frosted glass and bespoke crystal champagne flutes, an incredible in-car entertainment system and an extensive range of luxury trim options. This remarkable car is estimated between €160,000 and €200,000 EUR.

Rounding out this collection are four stunning superbikes, each representing the ultimate iteration of their lineages. These include a 1999 Ducati 996 SPS/F (Estimate: €20,000 – €30,000 EUR), a 2003 MV Agusta F4 750 Senna (Estimate: €30,000 – €40,000 EUR), a 2005 MV Agusta F4 1000 Tamburini(Estimate: €25,000 – €35,000 EUR), and a 2006 Ducati999R (Estimate: €25,000 – €35,000).
