There is just over a week left until the start of the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2022 in Albania on September 4.
The 57 finalists, who compete in 21 international teams, have already received their BMW Motorrad driver kits, complete with names, national flags and GS Trophy 2022 badges. They will soon begin their journey to Albania and will be then ready for unique GS Trophy experiences in one of Europe’s last largely untouched off-road paradises.

For those unable to attend in person, BMW Motorrad will provide full multimedia coverage of the event. GS fans around the world will be able to experience the GS Trophy 2022 every day in the form of reports, photos, video clips and even participate via a photo and video contest.
GS Trophy photo and video contest
The interactive photo contest was introduced in 2012 and has been so well received, with several thousand votes cast, that it has become a permanent feature of the event and will be expanded to include a video contest this year.
The teams themselves will capture the most exciting moments of their adventure in photographs and film over two days of the GS Trophy 2022. The particular theme of the competition is completely open; it could be an action shot of teammates, a dramatic landscape, or perhaps a unique aspect of local life.
At the end of the two days, each team will submit their best photo or video, which will then be posted on the GS Trophy website. Voting also takes place on the website. Voting time will be limited to only 24 hours at a time.
Voting on September 6 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. CET (which corresponds to a voting start time on September 5 at 6:00 p.m. ET, 3:00 p.m. PT)
Voting on September 8 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. CET (which corresponds to a voting start time on September 7 at 6:00 p.m. ET, 3:00 p.m. PT)
Based on their voting results, teams will receive points that will count towards their overall competition score.
