Srinagar, May 05 (GNS): A scooter driver was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Budgam district, central Kashmir on Thursday afternoon.
Reports reaching GNS said that the scooter driver, Umar Sheikh, a resident of Rawalpora Srinagar, was hit by a Tavera vehicle in Kralpora Chadoora resulting in serious injuries to the scooter driver. He was immediately transferred to the nearby hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, a police official also confirmed to the GNS that a case has been registered in this regard. (GNS)
