Rider named College of Distinction 2022-23

Rider University has been recognized once again for its commitment to helping undergraduate students learn, grow, and succeed by Colleges of Distinction, a guide for college-bound students.

In addition to being named the 2022-23 National and State College of Distinction, Rider received special recognition in the categories of business, education, career development, equity and inclusion and military support.

“We are inspired by how Rider University immerses students in their fields, while fostering a welcoming community that will support them throughout their college years,” said Wes Creel, Founder of Colleges of Distinction.

The guide ranks schools by focusing on four distinctions: engaged students, excellent teaching, a vibrant community, and positive outcomes.

“We are honored to be recognized once again for our success in supporting student growth and success,” said Dean and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. DonnaJean A. Fredeen.

Rider is consistently ranked among the most prestigious publications for its academic excellence. More recently, Rider climbed 11 spots on U.S. News & World Report’s list of top regional universities in the North, in addition to being named one of the top 387 colleges and a top college in the Northeast by The Princeton Review. .
