An Okada Rider Shares Her Inspirational Story

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that an okada rider who trained in school with the company shared her story.

Fortune, who hails from Delta State, said the worst piece of advice she received from people was that she was too beautiful to cycle in the scorching Lagos State sun.

The lady came to Lagos in 2017 on her father’s brother’s promise to put her through school. According to the 24-year-old, the man said she should pay him back. Fortune later defied him and went in search of a job.

The lady who has been cycling since the age of 11 said she got into the okada business because there were no high-paying jobs for her in the state.
