GrabFood Rider transports 1 year old toddler on delivery trips

Playing the role of a parent is not an easy task. Often they have to make sacrifices that never see the light of day, all for the sake of their children.

While many may think sacrificing for parents means spending less time with their kids, the opposite rings true for a GrabFood runner in Malaysia, who hauls her toddler around while making deliveries.

His fate went viral on TikTokand seeing this, a kind donor came to get him a new motorcycle, hoping that it would ease some of his burdens.

The touching moment was filmed as the GrabFood runner cried and profusely thanked his donor.

GrabFood pilot braves the weather while transporting a toddler during deliveries

Malaysian philanthropist Ebit Lew shared his encounter with runner GrabFood in a Facebook post June 18.

The video accompanying the post follows the dad spending his day as a delivery boy, with his toddler strapped across the front of his body.

The video then cuts to Mr. Lew walking towards the GrabFood runner in a parking lot.

The father, shielding his toddler from the sun’s rays with a towel, greets him before they strike up a conversation.

The video then cuts to another scene of Mr. Lew speaking with the father in a cooler, seemingly sheltered location, presumably to learn more about his struggles.

Although it is unclear what he said to Mr Lew, the runner had previously shared with TikToker @abamskhai that he only started taking his one-year-old to work about a month ago when his wife started working. She would have been a stay-at-home mom before that.

After sending his wife to work at 9 o’clock in the morning, he would start his delivery rounds until the evening or even later if the weather permitted. The rider, who said his name is Amirul, also has three children in total – the toddler, another young child in his mother’s care and a school child. The family lives with Amirul’s parents.

Perhaps after learning these details, Mr. Lew hands Amirul a wad of cash, after which the clip cuts to the latter entering a vehicle.

The video then briefly focuses on Amirul’s bike which has obviously seen better days.

They were apparently there to give Amirul a new motorcycle.

He finally settled on a black and yellow one, which he posed with, ultimately with a smile on his face.

After signing some documents, Mr. Lew and Amirul kissed before going their own way.

Philanthropist offers to pay nanny to look after toddler

According to the legend of Facebook postAmirul had to borrow a motorbike from his in-laws to do his job.

Although his wife works in a clothing store, the family struggles financially.

Feeling sorry for their toddler, Mr Lew said he asked Amirul to find a nanny. He also offered to cover the full cost, for which the GrabFood runner thanked him warmly.

I hope the father continues to do his best for his child

In an ideal world, we’re sure the dad wouldn’t want to take his kid around while he’s making deliveries, especially given the dangers on the road.

Unfortunately, his situation has clearly left him with no options.

We hope Mr. Lew’s kindness has helped ease Amirul’s burden, if not just for now, but for some time to come, especially once he can trust someone with custody of his child. .
