I earn 3 million naira a year – Cavalier Keke | Subway
A tricycle operator, David Okon Samuel, gave a glimpse of his decent income from his work.
Samuel said he earns 3 million naira per year, or 250,000 naira per month.
He made the revelation while encouraging young Nigerians to avoid internet fraud and focus on legitimate ways of earning money.
Samuel was reacting to a message about a 22-year-old man, Dominic Joshua Ngene, who was arrested by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Lagos last year and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) this year for fraud-related crimes.

Reacting, Samuel blamed the get-rich-quick syndrome in Nigerian society on laziness and greed.
He said there were legitimate ways to earn a decent income.
“A thief will always be a thief unless he repents. As a Keke pilot, I earn 3 million naira this year,” he wrote.
Giving a breakdown of his income, Samuel said: “10,000×300 days, do the math yourself. There is no reason to get involved in fraud. It’s just laziness and greed.
However, the tricycle operator did not give a breakdown of its expenses for gas, repairs and union dues.
