Fireworks at Rider in Lawrence, NJ to celebrate the 4th of July
The Township of Lawrence’s annual fireworks display to celebrate July 4 will again be held at Rider University for 2022, according to the Township of Lawrence Recreation Department.
The date is set. Put a reminder in your phone to Friday evening July 1. I can not wait. Bring your family, friends, chairs and blankets. It’s FREE ENTRY. There will be music, food vendors, glow sticks for sale and more. The fireworks will begin at dusk.
Do you know how many pictures of fireworks I have? A lot. They are all so pretty. Lol.
This photo is from last year’s celebration. There is usually patriotic music playing during the fireworks, which is very enjoyable.
Here is another.
It’s a Rollins family tradition. We like that. We wear our red, white and blue, meet friends there, bring food and bevvys, and hang around, listening to music until the fireworks start. Some years we go hard. Lol.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love themed parties… so when we go, everything is patriotic, even the cupcakes. Lol.
It’s like a big tailgate party. Index – go early to get a good spot to see the fireworks.
I also like going there because I’m a Rider University alumnus. It’s great to visit campus every year and reminisce about my years there. I was a communications major… go figure. Lol.
The rain date is the next day, Saturday July 2.
Rider University is located at 2083 Lawrenceville Road (Route 206) in the Township of Lawrence.
Maybe I’ll see you there. Don’t miss this fun night.
