2022 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and Low Rider ST in Malaysia, priced at RM115,900 and RM125,900

Now in Malaysia are the Harley-Davidson (HD) Low Rider S and Low Rider ST, priced at RM115,900 and RM125,900, respectively. The Low Rider S is a stripped down cruiser while the Low Rider ST is touring oriented with a frame mounted touring fairing and removable hard saddlebags.
As part of HD’s Softtail series of bikes, the pair of Low Riders feature an engine identical to the Milwaukee Eight 117 V-twin, with minimal chrome and a blacked out color scheme. Output from the 1,923cc V-twin engine, which HD says is “the pinnacle of torque and displacement”, is 105hp at 5,020rpm with 168Nm of torque at 3,500rpm .
Vibration is minimized through the use of dual counterweight shafts and power is sent to the split six-speed gearbox via the primary chain and then to the 16-inch rear wheel using the final drive through belt. A taller rear monoshock provides 56mm of suspension travel with remote hydraulic preload adjustment.
Up front, non-adjustable 43mm-diameter forks hold the 19-inch front wheel, with seat height on the “S” being 710mm while the “ST” gets 720mm. The Low Rider S is listed at 308kg while the ST tips the scales at 327kg, fully loaded and ready to go.
Braking is done with four-piston fixed calipers up front and dual floating brake discs while the rear gets a two-piston floating caliper and single disc, while dual-channel ABS is standard. In terms of riding position, both Low Riders come with mid-mount footpegs, while the “S” has lower drag-style handlebars and the “ST” comes with taller bars placing the rider in a more upright position.
LED lighting is used throughout and the smart keyless security system is standard. The color options available for the Low Rider S and ST in Malaysia are Vivid Black and Gunship Grey.
