1 cyclist killed and 1 injured in motorcycle accident on Rodeo Drive [Victorville, CA]

A motorcyclist is pronounced dead after a fatal accident near Lariat Road

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (March 29, 2022) – On Thursday evening, a motorcyclist was killed while another was injured in a motorcycle accident on Rodeo Drive.

According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station, the crash happened around 7:57 p.m. on March 24.

Police discovered two motorcyclists traveling south at high speed on Rodeo Drive. A motorcyclist edged a Dodge Durango as it pulled out of a private driveway on the west side of the roadway.

To avoid the Dodge, the other driver swerved, but was unsuccessful and ended up crashing into a Nissan Altima that was parked nearby.

Despite lifesaving measures taken by paramedics, the motorcyclist who overran the Dodge died at the scene. However, the authorities have not yet released their identity.

The other runner ended up in a trauma center with his condition unknown at that time. During this time, the driver of the Dodge suffered no injuries.
