On July 25-27, 2008 The American Legion Riders Down River Chapter 472

will be sponsering the 1st annual "Veteran's Northern Exposure Run"

to raise money for the Michigan Veterans VA Hospital System

including the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center.

The medical center provides acute medical, surgical, psychiatric, neurological, and dermatological inpatient care.

The medical center also operates a 109-bed nursing home care unit and

a Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program as well as two veteran outreach centers

in Dearborn and downtown Detroit.

The American Legion Riders will be inviting organizations, families and

businesses to participate in the event through sponsorships and donations.

The Riders will be printing the names of each business sponsor on commemorative t-shirts.

Sponsorships start at $25+ for standard font and $50+ for large.

Your contribution of any amount would greatly help The American Legion Riders reach their goal.
